La Liga giants Real Madrid are set to announce the latest addition to the club’s squad on Friday.
That’s according to Blancos insider José Félix Díaz of Marca, who points towards Trent Alexander-Arnold as the player in question.
The name of defender Alexander-Arnold has of course long proven a prominent one in the media headlines surrounding Real Madrid.
This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that, after coming to the decision not to renew his contract with Liverpool, the England international had agreed to the terms of a pre-contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.
And yet, weeks on, Alexander-Arnold’s signing is yet to be made official by Real themselves.
The club’s supporters, though, need not fret.
As per a report from the aforementioned José Félix Díaz, Friday will be ‘Alexander-Arnold day’ in Spain’s capital.
The long-awaited announcement regarding the 26-year-old’s move to Real Madrid is finally expected to be forthcoming, potentially opening the door for TAA to play his part at the upcoming Club World Cup.
