A member of the summer recruitment drive at La Liga giants Real Madrid has already managed to win over all in the dressing room in Spain’s capital.
That’s according to Diario AS, who highlight Marc Cucurella as the player in question.
Defender Cucurella of course made the call to take his talents back to his home country of Spain earlier this summer. Identified by the incoming José Mourinho as an important signing, the Chelsea man showed little hesitation in committing the prime years of his career to Real Madrid.
Cucurella has in turn spent recent weeks integrating himself into his new surroundings at Valdebebas, alongside fellow new signings Bernardo Silva, Denzel Dumfries and more.
And as alluded to above, despite the very recent nature of his arrival, the 28-year-old is already understood to be making quite an impression behind the scenes in Madrid.
As per a report from Diario AS:
‘To say he’s made a great first impression is an understatement. The dressing room adores him. His intensity at the back, quality in attack, and charisma and good rapport with his teammates have made him, in less than a month, a fan favourite.’
