Former Real Madrid starlet Jacobo Ramón has confirmed that he is hopeful of securing a return to Spain’s capital at some point down the line.
Defender Jacobo for his part brought a permanent close to his time on the books of Real Madrid this past summer.
This came upon the youngster putting pen to paper on terms with Serie A outfit Como.
Jacobo has since gone on to enjoy a stellar start to life in Italy, excelling at the heart of boss Cesc Fàbregas’ backline.
With such impressive performances, though, comes inevitable chatter surrounding a potential return to base in Spain’s capital in the future. Particularly when taking into account Real Madrid’s buyback clause.
Speaking during an interview with Diario AS this week, the subject of potentially linking back up with his former employers was therefore put to Jacobo himself.
And the 20-year-old went on to admit:
“Right now I’m only thinking about the ‘how’, but for the future it’s a dream, of course.”
