Real Madrid’s squad have rallied behind Arda Güler, amid ongoing speculation surrounding the future of the youngster.
Güler, for his part, has of course endured a difficult start to life in Spain’s capital, since his arrival from Turkish giants Fenerbahce last summer.
Owing to a string of fitness problems, he has to date been restricted to just a trio of appearances in the colours of Real.
In turn, reports had begun to mount in the media of late, that the 18-year-old could be farmed out on loan, to secure more consistent playing time over the remainder of the term.
With just two days remaining in the winter transfer window, as much looks unlikely, though, meaning Güler will likely be forced to battle for his place in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans over the weeks and months ahead.
And, in his efforts towards precisely that, the midfield prodigy appears to boast the full backing of his teammates in Madrid.
As per a report from Relevo on Tuesday, Los Blancos’ stars have rallied around their young teammate, in a bid to lift his spirits.
The Turk has been urged to be ‘patient’, by a number of senior figures, as well as the coaching staff at the club.
‘His teammates have noticed it (his frustration), and they have taken it upon themselves to give him love,’ it is added.
Crucially, despite his recent struggles, all at Valdebebas, including Güler himself, maintain faith that his emergence as a key figure in Real Madrid’s squad is only a matter of time.
