Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni will be forced to walk the disciplinary tightrope in the club’s upcoming meeting with Girona.
This comes with the Frenchman just a solitary yellow card away from a La Liga suspension.
Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action in short order.
With sights on a return to winning ways on the domestic front, Los Blancos have made the trip to Catalunya, to lock horns with the aforementioned Girona.
Midfielder Tchouaméni is for his part expected to feature from the off in the fixture, from his customary berth at the base of Xabi Alonso’s engine room.
And as alluded to above, should this prove to be the case, then the former AS Monaco standout will need to watch his step.
Tchouaméni currently sits on four yellow cards for the season in Spain’s top-flight.
Pick up another at the Estadi Montilivi, and he will in turn be suspended for Real Madrid’s home meeting with Athletic Club in midweek.
