Real Madrid star Endrick is close to agreeing to the terms of a loan move away from the club for the 2nd half of the season.
This comes amid confirmation of advanced negotiations between the Brazilian’s entourage, and Ligue 1 outfit Olympique Lyonnais.
As per a report from market expert Matteo Moretto on Tuesday:
‘Endrick is very close to going out on loan to Lyon in January. Advanced conversations.’
News of Endrick inching towards the exit door at the Santiago Bernabéu will of course come as little surprise to those of a Real Madrid persuasion.
The 19-year-old has struggled badly for game-time across the season to date, since recovering from a spell on the sidelines over the summer.
In fact, all told, Endrick has been afforded just one appearance by new manager Xabi Alonso, an 11-minute cameo in a 4-0 rout against Valencia.
At such a crucial point in his development, and with the World Cup to come next year, Lyon therefore looks like the ideal landing spot for the young striker to showcase his talents.
