A member of the attacking raks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is expected to be utilised in an altered role in his country’s next outing.
That’s according to TNT Sports, who point towards Vinícius Jr. as the player in question.
Wide-man Vinícius was for his part in from the off for Brazil late last week, in the nation’s friendly meeting with South Korea.
The 25-year-old featured from the off in his favoured position on the left flank, and enjoyed a fine individual showing en route to a 5-0 rout.
As alluded to above, though, the expectation is that Vinícius will nevertheless be made use of in a different position next time out.
Brazil are primed to return to action on Tuesday, in another friendly clash with Asian opposition, in the form of Japan.
And according to TNT Sports, Carlo Ancelotti’s plan is to field Vinícius in a centre-forward berth for the fixture.
