La Liga giants Real Madrid will be forced to make do without a leading member of the club’s attacking ranks in their next domestic outing.
This comes after Vinícius Jr. picked up his latest yellow card.
Los Blancos are of course currently locked in action, in a La Liga meeting with Rayo Vallecano.
Wide-man Vinícius was for his part in from the off for the fixture, from his customary berth on the left flank.
Not only that, but the Brazilian went on to open the scoring during the first-half.
On the far side of the interval, however, after Rayo levelled things up at a goal apiece, Vinícius allowed his emotions to get the better of him.
As Ilias Akhomach slowly made his way off the pitch after being substituted, Real Madrid’s attacking standout attempted to speed the Moroccan off with a push.
This culminated in a scuffle between the two sets of players, and a booking for Vinícius.
His 5th of the La Liga campaign, the 25-year-old will therefore be suspended for Los Blancos’ next domestic outing, against Valencia.
