An insight into the extent of the injury absence facing Real Madrid star Aurélien Tchouaméni has been forthcoming online.
This comes amid confirmation that the Frenchman is expected to miss around three weeks of action.
The name of midfielder Tchouaméni has of course emerged as a prominent one in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.
After the 25-year-old suffered a fitness setback against Liverpool on Tuesday, he was put through a round of medical tests at Valdebebas on Thursday morning.
And as much confirmed the following:
‘Following tests carried out today on our player Aurélien Tchouameni by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the semitendinosus muscle in his left thigh. His recovery will be monitored.’
Real Madrid’s report did not confirm the likely extent of the recovery schedule facing their engine room star.
As per an ensuing report from club insider Arancha Rodriguez, though, Tchouaméni will be unavailable for selection for around three weeks.
