Real Madrid star Rodrygo has early this week taken an altogether sizable step forward in his injury recovery timeline. This comes amid confirmation of the Brazilian returning to the grass at Valdebebas.
Frontman Rodrygo has for his part been sidelined since all the way back in March of this year. After taking to the pitch as a substitute in a La Liga meeting with Getafe, the Brazilian was revealed to have suffered a serious knee injury.
An ensuing round of tests confirmed ‘a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament and a rupture of the lateral meniscus of his right leg’, ruling Rodrygo out of this summer’s World Cup and beyond.
The 25-year-old, though, has over recent weeks been spotted back at Valdebebas, ramping up his recovery under the watchful eye of the Real Madrid medical staff.
And as alluded to above, on Tuesday, Rodrygo’s tireless endeavours have given rise to a considerable boost for club and player alike.
Taking to his official Instagram account, the versatile attacker confirmed that he has been given the green light to return to jogging on the grass for the first time in six months:
