La Liga giants Real Madrid have early this week been dealt a blow on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Dean Huijsen has suffered a fresh fitness setback.
Stopper Huijsen was for his part in from the off over the weekend, as Real Madrid made the trip to Alicante for a La Liga meeting with Elche.
En route to a disappointing 2-2 draw for Los Blancos, the 20-year-old even managed to find the net during the 2nd-half.
As alluded to above, though, along the way, Huijsen picked up a problem on the fitness front.
As confirmed by Real Madrid insider Arancha Rodríguez, fresh off being forced into a premature departure from Spanish national team duty during the November break:
‘Huijsen has an overload in his left thigh.’
The former Bournemouth talent, as a result, will play no part in Los Blancos’ trip to Greece to face Olympiacos in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
