Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé picked up a minor injury setback during the club’s meeting with Celta Vigo on Sunday.
This comes amid confirmation that the Frenchman suffered a broken finger during the clash.
As per a report from journalist Miguel Angel Diaz of COPE:
‘Mbappé has a fracture in the ring finger of his left hand.’
It is also noted, though, that the issue is not expected to keep the former PSG man out for Real Madrid’s upcoming Champions League showdown with Manchester City.
Mbappé’s blow of course came amid what was an evening to forget all told for Xabi Alonso’s troops on Sunday.
Looking completely out of sorts once again, Los Blancos saw their title chances dealt a considerable blow, by way of a 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Celta Vigo.
Real, in turn, find themselves trailing table-topping arch rivals Barcelona by four points in the La Liga standings.
