Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga has this week sparked fears over a potential incoming spell on the sidelines.
This comes amid confirmation that the midfielder was forced to sit out training once again on Wednesday.
Camavinga for his part linked up with his compatriots with the French national team earlier this week.
After missing group training with Didier Deschamps’ squad on Tuesday, however, the 23-year-old has still not been cleared to take to the grass.
As per a report from journalist Fabrice Hawkins:
‘Eduardo Camavinga has hamstring pain. He trained separately and is uncertain (to face Ukraine).
Camavinga has for his part spent recent weeks working his way back into prominence in Xabi Alonso’s Real Madrid squad.
After spending the first month of the term sidelined through injury, the former Rennes talent has been afforded starts in three of Los Blancos’ last four fixtures across all competitions.
With Aurélien Tchouaméni unavailable at present, and Federico Valverde continuing to struggle to regain full fitness, any sort of incoming absence for Camavinga would therefore mark a heavy blow for the La Liga table-toppers.
