Real Madrid star Arda Güler played no part in group training alongside the rest of the club’s first-team squad on Wednesday morning.
Those of a Blancos persuasion, though, need not fret when it comes to the wellbeing of their creative starlet.
Arda is for his part of course fresh off playing a starring role in Real Madrid’s most important victory of the campaign to date. Afforded a starting berth in the capital outfit’s showdown with arch rivals Barcelona, the 21-year-old saw out the full 90 minutes, laying on a decisive late pass en route to the visitors’ 2-1 victory at the Camp Nou.
This came as just Arda’s latest key contribution, amid what has been a stellar individual campaign for the Turk to date.
The Real Madrid faithful would in turn no doubt have been concerned to learn of Arda sitting out group training at Valdebebas earlier today.
As per a report from Blancos insider Alvaro Esteban, though:
‘Güler has stayed in the gym due to muscle overload, but he should be fine for the Racing Santander match (on Sunday).’
