Real Madrid star Rodrygo has hinted that he would like the chance to prove himself in a different role in Spain’s capital moving forward.
This comes following the 24-year-old’s latest starring display on the international front.
Rodrygo was for his part back in action on Friday, in a friendly meeting between Brazil and South Korea.
And en route to an eventual 5-0 rout for the South Americans, the former Santos talent proved himself the star of the show.
Rodrygo was on target to the tune of a brace, amid a brilliant all-round performance.
As much came from a no.10 berth, one in which the attacker is rarely afforded the chance to prove his talents.
Speaking to the media post-match, Rodrygo therefore made use of the opportunity to hail Brazil headmaster and former Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, in the process sending something of a message the way of current Blancos manager Xabi Alonso:
“Carlo Ancelotti played me in a position I played a lot at Real Madrid with Vini, it works really well, we link-up everytime. Ancelotti knows it better than anyone.”
