La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week been afforded some positive news on the personnel front.
This comes amid confirmation that Ferland Mendy has returned to group training.
Left-back Mendy has for his part not taken to the pitch since all the way back in April of this year.
As much comes owing to a pair of injury problems, the latest of which came in his thigh whilst closing on a comeback over the summer.
As alluded to above, though, after a long and arduous recovery, Mendy, at long last, is again closing on a return to competitive duty.
The 30-year-old was spotted back out on the grass at Valdebebas on Tuesday morning.
Not only that, but he managed to take part in group activities, hinting that his return to matchday duties may not be too far away.
Real Madrid are primed to kick their campaign back into gear this coming weekend, in a La Liga meeting with Getafe.
