Real Madrid star ready to resist fan calls to leave this summer

Real Madrid star Eduardo Camavinga has no intention of bringing a close to his chapter with the club this summer.

This comes despite the mounting calls for his sale.

Midfielder Camavinga has of course dominated the headlines in Spain’s capital over the last week, for all the wrong reasons.

After being introduced off the bench in Real Madrid’s Champions League quarter-final 2nd-leg showdown with Bayern Munich, the Frenchman was shown a quickfire pair of yellow cards.

This proved decisive in Bayern gaining the required momentum to net a pair of late goals, and send Los Blancos packing from Europe.

Real’s supporters widely pinned the blame for the result on Camavinga, with many having also gone as far as to call for his exit from the club this summer.

If the latest word in the Spanish media is anything to go by, however, then such fans look unlikely to be granted their wish…

As per a report from Marca:

‘He is a highly sought-after player, but the Frenchman has no intention of giving up, much less leaving Real Madrid.’
