A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid was again forced to sit out group training on the international front on Tuesday.
The player in question? Kylian Mbappé.
Frontman Mbappé for his part set alarm bells sounding in Spain’s capital this past weekend.
This came upon the 26-year-old limping out of Real Madrid’s La Liga victory over Villarreal, with what was later revealed to be an ankle problem.
Mbappé nevertheless went on to link up with his compatriots in the French national team, but missed training on Monday whilst undergoing a personalised treatment programme.
And as alluded to above, 24 hours on, the former PSG man is yet to be given the medical green light.
As per a report from journalist Ilies Peeters, in attendance at the French national team’s training ground on Tuesday, Mbappé did not participate in team training with Didier Deschamps’ squad.
The goalscorer, in turn, is considered a doubt to feature in Les Bleus’ World Cup qualifying fixture against Azerbaijan on Friday.
