A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga leaders Real Madrid continued a dismal stretch of individual form in front of goal on Sunday.
This came after the player in question, in the form of Rodrygo, drew another blank against Rayo Vallecano.
Real Madrid were of course back in action a short time ago, making the trip across Spain’s capital to lock horns with Rayo.
When all was said and done, Los Blancos dropped points in La Liga for just the 2nd time this season, owing to a goalless stalemate.
The aforementioned Rodrygo, meanwhile, was introduced to proceedings during the 2nd-half, with his side in desperate search of an all-important goal.
Once again, however, the Brazilian failed to produce the desired impact.
Rodrygo is yet to find the net even once to this point in the 2025/26 campaign.
And stretching back to the tail end of last season, this makes for a run of 28 appearances in all competitions without a single goal.
