Real Madrid star limps out of international clash with injury

La Liga leaders Real Madrid have on Tuesday been dealt a potential blow on the personnel front.

This comes after defensive star Éder Militão picked up what appeared to be an injury whilst on international duty.

Militão’s Brazil were back in action a short time ago, locking horns with African outfit Tunisia in a friendly clash.

The Real Madrid standout was afforded a starting berth for the evening, joining Blancos teammates Rodrygo and Vinícius Jr. in Carlo Ancelotti’s XI.

During the 2nd-half, however, Militão set alarm bells sounding amongst the staff of both his nation, and club.

As much came upon the former Porto man limping out of the action with what looked like a muscular complaint.

An update on the situation is expected over the hours ahead, as Xabi Alonso and those back in Spain’s capital cross their fingers in hopes that the issue is only a minor one.
