A soon-to-be former member of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid has emerged as a summer transfer target on the part of Turkish club Fenerbahçe.
That’s according to transfer insider Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who points towards Lucas Vázquez as the player in question.
Defender Vázquez is for his part all set to bring a close to his career-long Real Madrid stint this summer.
As much comes after those in a position of power in Spain’s capital made the call not to offer the 33-year-old an extension to his expiring terms.
Upon Real’s endeavours at the Club World Cup coming to a close, Vázquez, in turn, will be available as a free agent.
And as alluded to above, with as much in mind, one of Turkish football’s leading clubs have positioned themselves in the fray for his signature.
As per a report from journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu:
‘Fenerbahçe have asked about the conditions of Lucas Vázquez, who plays for Real Madrid.’
