La Liga giants Real Madrid have on Wednesday been dealt a potential blow on the injury front.
This comes after Eduardo Camavinga was forced into a premature departure from the club’s meeting with Olympiacos.
Midfielder Camavinga was for his part reintroduced to starting duties by boss Xabi Alonso this evening, after being condemned to a substitute role against Elche over the weekend.
And the Frenchman went on to take full advantage of as much, laying on a fine assist for fellow countryman Kylian Mbappé during the first-half in Athens.
As alluded to above, however, with just 45 minutes on the clock, ‘Cama’ was hooked from proceedings.
After being spotted speaking to the visitors’ medical team on his way back to the dressing room at half-time, the 23-year-old failed to reemerge for the 2nd-half.
Dani Ceballos was introduced in Camavinga’s place, with an update on the situation expected in short order.
