Real Madrid star has more Champions League assists than any other player since start of last season

A statistic highlighting the continued creative excellence of Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has on Wednesday come to the fore online.

This comes after the Englishman played a starring role in Real’s latest victory.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are fresh off making it a trio of successive wins across all competitions.

After welcoming RB Salzburg to Spain’s capital for a Champions League clash, goals on the part of all of Rodrygo (2), Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr. guided Los Blancos to the right side of a 3-0 result.

The aforementioned Bellingham for his part featured from the off in the clash, and played a starring role, laying on the assists for both of Rodrygo’s goals.

And, in the process, the 21-year-old secured for himself an impressive individual title.

As revealed by statisticians Squawka, with eight and counting:

‘Jude Bellingham has provided more Champions League assists than any other player since he joined Real Madrid at the start of last season.’
