Real Madrid star has ‘lost his untransferable status’

Real Madrid star Rodrygo is no longer considered as being off the market by those in a position of power at the club.

This of course comes amid the ongoing struggles on the part of the Brazilian in the final third.

Rodrygo this past weekend made history in Spain’s capital, for all the wrong reasons. En route to Real Madrid being held to a share of the spoils by Girona, the 24-year-old extended his goalless streak to a hefty 30 fixtures across all competitions.

This comes amid the backdrop of Rodrygo having lost his starting status under the watch of new Blancos headmaster Xabi Alonso.

And with as much in mind, Florentino Pérez and co, it would appear, are increasingly leaning towards sanctioning the player’s sale.

As per a report from The Athletic, ahead of the January transfer window:

‘Offers will be considered for Rodrygo. The Brazilian lost his untransferable status last summer.’
