Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham conjured up nothing short of a spectacular performance on the international stage on Saturday. This came as England ran riot during a meeting with Croatia.
Thomas Tuchel’s troops marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Rijeka for their latest Nations League outing.
The aforementioned Jude Bellingham was afforded a starting berth for the evening, in an advanced role in the visitors’ midfield. And en route to an eventual 7-0 rout, the 23-year-old proved himself the star of the show.
Over the course of the 90 minutes, Bellingham directly contributed to a quartet of goals.
After first laying on Harry Kane’s opener, the Real Madrid man turned goalscorer himself a short time later. Bellingham’s creative influence was on full display throughout the remainder of the clash, too, culminating in further assists for both Bukayo Saka and Morgan Rogers.
So impressive a showing did Bellingham’s prove all told, that he was in turn afforded a perfect 10/10 match rating by statisticians Sofascore.
