A member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid had agreed on the terms of a deal to take his talents to Real Sociedad at one point earlier this summer.
That’s according to Arancha Rodriguez of COPE, who points towards Endrick as the player in question.
Frontman Endrick has of course seen his name emerge as a prominent one in the transfer chatter in Spain’s capital across the summer to date.
This comes with the 19-year-old’s hit-and-miss debut campaign on the books of Real Madrid having given rise to widespread speculation that he could be farmed out on loan before the summer is out.
As much has at this point been ruled out, but as alluded to above, had things played out just a little differently back in June, Endrick could well have been facing up to a season away from his parent club.
As per a report from COPE, the young goalscorer had ‘practically everything agreed’ to spend this coming season with Real Sociedad.
Just when the final pieces of the transfer were being put in place, however, Endrick suffered an injury setback, bringing a swift close to the negotiations between the parties.
