A leading member of the attacking ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid finished the club’s latest outing in less than positive mood.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Vinícius Jr. as the player in question.
Wide-man Vinícius of course featured from the off on Saturday, as Real Madrid welcomed Espanyol to Spain’s capital for a La Liga clash.
As much marked a return to starting duties for the Brazilian, who was dropped to the bench against Marseille in midweek.
Vinícius, in turn, responded with a solid performance, laying on an assist and looking dangerous throughout.
As alluded to above, however, despite his side’s eventual victory, the 25-year-old was left in foul mood in the aftermath of the clash.
As much comes after he was hooked from proceedings with 77 minutes on the clock.
As per a report from Marca, Vinícius ‘couldn’t believe it’ when Xabi Alonso informed him of his impending substitution, left ‘baffled and very upset’.
It is added:
‘He threw the bottle he was drinking from, raised his arms, and after being substituted went straight to the locker room, although he would come back out later to watch the game from the bench with his teammates.’
