A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is primed to return to starting duties for the club’s next outing.
That’s according to Marca, who highlight Arda Güler as the player in question.
Youngster Arda was for his part forced to make do with a rare spot on the bench earlier this week.
This came as Xabi Alonso opted to shake things up in his midfield ranks, for the club’s La Liga meeting with Athletic Club.
And the move worked a treat, en route to Real Madrid securing a first league win in four, by three goals to nil.
Xabi Alonso, in turn, would no doubt have been tempted to stick with a similar engine room setup on Sunday, when Los Blancos play host to Celta Vigo.
As alluded to above, however, changes again appear to be on the cards in Spain’s capital…
With Trent Alexander-Arnold having this week joined Dani Carvajal on the sidelines, Federico Valverde is expected to slot in at right-back tomorrow evening.
And according to Marca, as much will open the door for Arda to return to a starting role against Celta Vigo.
