Real Madrid star breaks club legend Iker Casillas’ UCL record

Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham has on Tuesday secured for himself a fresh piece of European football history.

This comes amid confirmation that the Englishman is set to become the youngest player to ever play 50 games in the Champions League.

Bellingham’s benchmark breaks that previously set by Real Madrid icon Iker Casillas, during his own days in Spain’s capital.

Real Madrid are of course primed to return to action on the continent in short order.

Los Blancos have made the trip to England to lock horns with Liverpool in the Champions League, with midfielder Bellingham – in the midst of a stellar recent run of form – having been named in the visitors’ XI for the evening.

Xabi Alonso’s troops enter the matchup brimming with confidence, fresh off making it 13 wins from 14 across all competitions this season at the expense of Valencia in La Liga this past weekend.
