Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has officially beaten out the stiff competition to the award for La Liga’s Player of the Month for October.
Frontman Mbappé for his part carried his stellar form in front of goal through last month.
All told, across a trio of appearances in Spain’s top-flight, the Frenchman found the net four times. This included a decisive brace in Real Madrid’s crucial victory over arch rivals Barcelona.
Such exploits proved enough to earn for Mbappé a place on the shortlist for La Liga Player of the Month, alongside the quartet of Lamine Yamal, Alejandro Grimaldo, Gonçalo Guedes and Matías Dituro.
And as alluded to above, on Friday, Real Madrid’s star goalscorer has officially scooped the prize.
On the same day in which Jude Bellingham was named Los Blancos’ Player of the Month, Mbappé has been named the best performer in Spain’s top-flight for October.
