Newly-signed Real Madrid starlet Dean Huijsen has this week revealed his admiration for the talents of teammate-in-waiting Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Defender Huijsen of course sealed a dream move to Real Madrid last month, after Los Blancos agreed to meet the release clause in his contract with Bournemouth.
Despite his tender years, the 20-year-old is expected to play a prominent role at the Santiago Bernabéu next season, amid lofty expectations across Europe.
Huijsen, though, is not the only defensive reinforcement to have arrived in Spain’s capital this summer.
In addition, Real recently announced the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold, following the expiration of the Englishman’s contract with Premier League champions Liverpool.
Speaking during an interview with Radioestadio Noche whilst on international duty with Spain this week, Alexander-Arnold’s name was therefore put to Huijsen.
And the youngster made use of the opportunity to praise his new teammate, in responding:
“Trent Alexander-Arnold is a great player. He will give us a lot of joy.”
