La Liga giants Real Madrid are closing on yet another boost on the financial front, courtesy of the transfer market. This comes with youngster Jacobo Ortega understood to be on the verge of a move to France.
The brass at the Santiago Bernabéu have of course done nothing short of a masterful job of raising funds across the summer to date.
Owing to sell-on clauses, permanent sales and more, the likes of Nico Paz, Álvaro Rodríguez, Víctor Muñoz and Mario Gila have generated well over €100 million in funds.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the Spanish media on Wednesday is anything to go by, then this figure looks set to rise once more over the days ahead.
As per a report from Diario AS, young striker Jacobo Ortega, of Real Madrid Castilla, is primed to take his talents to Ligue 1 with Strasbourg.
The two clubs are closing on an agreement for a sum in the region of €8 million, which would see the Spanish heavyweights maintain 50% of Jacobo’s playing rights.
