La Liga giants Real Madrid have forwarded a message of strength and support the way of Bayern Munich star Sven Ulreich this weekend.
This comes after the goalkeeper was forced to come to terms with the passing of his son.
Ulreich took to his official Instagram account on Friday, to reveal some heartbreaking personal news.
As much saw the 36-year-old announce that his six-year-old son, Len, recently passed away following a lengthy battle with illness.
Messages of support, in turn, have since come flooding in for Ulreich from across the world of football.
And as alluded to above, adding their name to the list of the Germanâs well-wishers on Saturday were Spanish heavyweights Real Madrid.
In a post across the clubâs website and social media platforms, Los Blancos wrote:
âReal Madrid C. F., its president, and its Board of Directors wish to express their condolences and affection to Sven Ulreich, player of FC Bayern, for the passing of his son, and extend them to his family and loved ones. Rest in peace.â
