La Liga giants Real Madrid are readying an opening proposal for the signature of Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali.
This comes amid the understanding that the Italian international has made his way onto Los Blancos’ transfer wishlist for the summer.
Real Madrid have often struggled in the middle of the park across the season to date, amid question marks over the fit of the club’s engine room options alongside one another.
The brass in Spain’s capital are therefore expected to dip into the market with a view to the 2025/26 campaign.
A shortlist of options has in turn been drawn up, featuring names from across the continent.
And underlined in red is the name of the aforementioned Sandro Tonali.
As per a report from Fichajes:
‘At Valdebebas, they believe Tonali fits perfectly into the midfield overhaul, a strategic area for the team’s immediate future.’
It is added that Real Madrid are therefore ‘preparing an initial offer exceeding €75 million’.
