La Liga giants Real Madrid have entered into negotiations with Portguese counterparts Benfica, over another summer transfer.
That’s according to Diario Sport, citing Record, who point towards Brahim Díaz as the subject of these talks.
The name of attacker Brahim has emerged as a prominent one in the headlines in Spain’s capital across the day to date.
This comes after reliable reports were forthcoming, assuring that the Moroccan international has agreed on the terms of a new contract with Real Madrid:
As alluded to above, however, mere hours later, Brahim has been tipped for an immiment Santiago Bernabéu exit.
As per a report from Sport, amid concerns surrounding a potential lack of game-time for the former AC Milan man in Xabi Alonso’s squad this season, Real Madrid have opened transfer talks with Benfica:
‘Benfica are looking for a creative player to play behind the striker and see in Brahim Diaz a player capable of giving immediate guarantees. ‘CNN Portugal’ recently reported the Portuguese’s interest in the Spanish-Moroccan and ‘Record’ now assures that there are already talks between the two clubs.’
Real and Benfica have of course already done business once this summer, culminating in Álvaro Carreras joining the former.
