Real Madrid now have the two most valuable midfielders in the world

La Liga giants Real Madrid now boast world football’s two most valuable midfield players in their first-team squad.

That’s according to market insiders transfermarkt, who point towards Federico Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga as the pair in question.

Both Valverde and Camavinga are of course fresh off stellar individual campaigns on the books of Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid.

The former stood as more or less an ever-present in the middle of the park, shining on both sides of the ball on his way to a hefty 54 appearances across all competitions.

And midfield partner Camavinga, though not quite as frequent a member of Los Blancos’ starting XI, nevertheless managed 46 appearances of his own, too.

As much proved pivotal to Real securing for themselves the status of both Spanish and European champions.

And, as alluded to above, Valverde and Camavinga have today been rewarded for their efforts by way of shiny new price-tags.

As per the aforementioned transfermarkt, the former is now considered the most valuable midfielder in the game, at €120 million.

And Frenchman Camavinga is not far behind in 2nd, at €100 million.
