Real Madrid name asking price for Brahim Díaz

The price-tag set by the powers that be at La Liga giants Real Madrid for midfielder Brahim Díaz has today been revealed.

The info comes courtesy of Mundo Deportivo, citing ‘El Debate’, who point towards any clubs interested in the Moroccan international as having been made aware that Brahim will not be available on the cheap.

The subject of Brahim’s future in Spain’s capital has come under the microscope in the media over the course of recent weeks.

As much comes ahead of the impending arrival of Kylian Mbappé at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Though the pair do not take to the pitch in the same position, it has been suggested by some sources that Brahim will be knocked further down the pecking order in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad by Mbappé’s incoming.

Add to this the expected emergence of Arda Güler, and the former AC Milan man, despite an impressive campaign to date in Madrid, could find himself as the odd man out.

In turn, it has been speculated that, for the right price, Real Madrid could be open to Brahim’s sale in the summer.

As alluded to above, though, Los Blancos will only sanction as much in the face of an offer deemed as too good to turn down landing on the table in the Bernabéu boardroom.

Such a proposal would need to come in around the €60 million mark.

With Brahim, for his part, keen to stay put and fight for his place, a transfer with a view to next season is therefore deemed as altogether unlikely as things stand.
