La Liga giants Real Madrid are ready to throw their hat in the ring for the signature of Porto youngster Victor Froholdt.
That’s according to Fichajes, who have this week provided an insight into the situation.
Froholdt, for his part, is a 19-year-old midfielder, who has spent the season to date building on his reputation as a future star in the making.
Already a full senior international with Denmark, the starlet has racked up 11 league appearances in the colours of Porto, chipping in with four goal contributions along the way.
And as alluded to above, in the process, Froholdt has piqued the attentions of some of European football’s leading clubs.
As per Fichajes, already closely watched by Manchester United and Atlético Madrid, the Dane is now in the sights of Real Madrid, too.
Los Blancos see Froholdt fitting perfectly into their blueprint of signing young first-team players bursting with potential, before developing them into fully-fledged stars.
The midfielder’s Porto contract contains an €85 million release clause, but he could likely be secured for a considerably lower sum.
