The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid are yet to make a final call on the future of a member of the club’s midfield ranks.
That’s according to Marca, who point towards Dani Ceballos as the player in question.
The name of former Arsenal man Ceballos has remeerged as a prominent one in the transfer chatter surrounding Real Madrid over recent weeks.
This comes after new Blancos boss Xabi Alonso dropped a first hint that he is not a firm believer in the talents of the 28-year-old.
En route to the Spanish heavyweights being sent packing from the Club World Cup at the semi-final stage, Ceballos was afforded a grand total of just 71 minutes of playing time.
As much has culminated in fresh speculation pointing towards a potential incoming Bernabéu exit for the midfielder.
As alluded to above, however, as of this moment, those behind the scenes in Spain’s capital have not yet made a call on whether or not they want to open the door to Ceballos.
As per transfer insider Matteo Moretto of Marca:
‘To this day, Real Madrid have not yet decided whether to let Dani Ceballos go.’
