The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid have made the call not to pursue a deal for Stuttgart star Angelo Stiller this summer.
That’s according to ESPN, who have on Thursday provided an insight into the situation.
The name of midfielder Stiller of course positioned itself front and centre in the media chatter surrounding Real Madrid earlier in the summer.
This came after a string of reports were forthcoming, pointing towards the German international as a potential addition to Xabi Alonso’s squad.
Following the departure of Luka Modrić, many are of the opinion that Los Blancos are in need of reinforcements in the middle of the park.
As alluded to above, however, if the latest update on the situation to have surfaced on Thursday is anything to go by, then Stiller will not be arriving at the Santiago Bernabéu over the weeks ahead.
As per a report from ESPN:
‘Angelo Stiller was mentioned, but for now, the Valdebebas team has ruled him out.’
