The brass at La Liga giants Real Madrid have already made contact with the entourage of Manchester City star Erling Haaland, over a potential future move for the Norwegian.
That’s according to English outlet Caught Offside, who have this weekend provided an insight into the situation.
Real Madrid, it is claimed, could sanction a historic sale in the summer of 2026.
As much would see Vinícius Jr. take his talents to Saudi Arabia, in a deal which would secure for Los Blancos a sum in the region of €250 million.
And such funds, in turn, would immediately be put to good use.
This comes amid the understanding that the Santiago Bernabéu board have set their sights on a potentially landscape-shifting swoop for Erling Haaland.
As per a report from Caught Offside, though the prolific frontman remains more than happy in Manchester, with City having little intention of opening to a sale:
‘Real Madrid have been in touch with Erling Haaland’s camp to assess the possibility of a major transfer move.’
