The home crowd in attendance at La Liga giants Real Madrid’s meeting with Celta Vigo on Sunday made their feelings with Xabi Alonso’s squad crystal clear upon the half-time whistle sounding.
This came after something of an underwhelming opening 45 minutes.
Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action on the domestic front, in a meeting with the aforementioned Celta.
Los Blancos headed into the fixture aware that nothing but a victory would suffice, after slipping four points adrift of table-topping arch rivals Barcelona in the race for Spanish supremacy last night.
As things stand, however, the capital outfit find themselves en route to just a share of the spoils.
Locked at 0-0, Real have stuttered through their latest outing, looking some way below their brilliant best.
And as alluded to above, such shortcomings have not gone at all overlooked on the part of many of those in attendance at the Bernabéu.
Upon the referee’s whistle bringing the first-half to a close, whistles and jeers rained down from the stands, ahead of an important 45 minutes ahead for all associated with Real Madrid.
