A whole host of members of Álvaro Arbeloa’s squad have flattered to deceive en route to as much, from Kylian Mbappé to Álvaro Carreras and more.
As alluded to above, though, it is star winger Vinícius Jr. who has been singled out for more widespread condemnation than any other amongst those of a Blancos persuasion.
The Brazilian has struggled badly in efforts to impact the clash in a positive manner in the final third.
Not only that, but he was responsible for playing an unwanted role in both of the goals netted by Bayern Munich to date.
The online backlash, in turn, has been as ruthless as it has swift.
