Real Madrid fans set to unveil banner in support of Jude Bellingham during Celta clash

An insight into the plans of a section of Real Madrid supporters to showcase their support for star midfielder Jude Bellingham has come to the fore on Sunday evening.

As much, of course, comes ahead of Real’s return to action in short order.

Amid ongoing efforts to stave off the attempts of Girona and Barcelona to hunt them down atop the La Liga table, Carlo Ancelotti’s troops have welcomed Celta Vigo to Spain’s capital, for a highly-anticipated clash.

Los Blancos will head into proceedings eyeing a bounce-back result, fresh off a somewhat disappointing pair of successive draws across all competitions, and just one win in four all told.

Such endeavours on the part of the capital giants, however, are set to come sans the contributions of an absolutely crucial member of boss Ancelotti’s squad.

This comes with the aforementioned Jude Bellingham in line to sit out the first of a two-game La Liga suspension against Celta.

The England international was shown a red card in the aftermath of Real’s controversy-strewn stalemate with Valencia last weekend, with an appeal on the part of the Santiago Bernabéu brass to have the sanction overturned during the week having proven unsuccessful.

Amid the widespread agreement that Bellingham was a touch hard done-by in picking up a ban for his actions, though, Los Blancos’ fans have this evening moved to provide their backing to the 20-year-old.

As revealed by Arancha Rodríguez of COPE, a banner is set to be unveiled at the Bernabéu in short order, reading:

“Hey Jude: Real Madrid is with you.”
