Real Madrid fans send Kepa-Lunin message to Carlo Ancelotti after win over Las Palmas

Supporters of Real Madrid have flooded to social media this evening, to send a message to head coach Carlo Ancelotti regarding the goalkeeper pecking order at the club.

This comes fresh off another fine display on the part of Andriy Lunin.

Real, of course, marked their return to action a short time ago, making the trip to Las Palmas in the knowledge that an eventual victory would see them secure temporary ownership of La Liga’s top spot.

And, when all was said and done, bag all three points is precisely what Los Blancos managed.

This came owing to a 2nd-half comeback, which saw goals on the part of Vinícius Jr. and Aurélien Tchouameni prove decisive en route to a 2-1 result.

Whilst it was Real’s more high-profile stars who proved decisive in the attacking third, though, at the other end, Andriy Lunin impressed once more, too.

Afforded a starting berth ahead of the on-loan Kepa Arrizabalaga, the Ukrainian responded when called into action, with one particular 2nd-half save from a Munir effort having proven the pick of the bunch:

As Carlo Ancelotti continues to insist that he has not yet chosen a definitive no.1, Los Merengues’ fans, in turn, have sent a collective message to their side’s headmaster.

Hand the responsibility to Lunin, not Kepa…
