Supporters of Real Madrid have on Thursday continued to make known their frustrations with the form of star winger Vinícius Jr.
This comes owing to the latest performance conjured up by the Brazilian international.
Real Madrid are of course currently locked in action, in a derby showdown with Diego Simeone’s Atlético.
As things stand, Los Blancos find themselves on track to book a place in the finale of the Spanish Super Cup, leading by two goals to one.
As alluded to above, though, despite their side’s collective success to date, fans of Xabi Alonso’s troops have not been shy in taking firm aim at one player.
Vinícius Jr. was afforded a starting berth in Jeddah this evening, from his customary berth on the left flank.
The 25-year-old, however, has since largely struggled to impact proceedings in a positive manner.
Far too frequently, Vinícius has surrendered possession to Atléti, looking some way off his explosive best.
This comes in the thick of a shaky recent spell of form on Vinícius’ part, culminating in mounting criticism across the Real Madrid fanbase.
In turn, it should come as little surprise to hear of the attacker being targeted once more on Wednesday, as many go as far as to call for Vinícius to be sold at the earliest opportunity.
