Real Madrid confirmed on Thursday that club captain Sergio Ramos has picked up another injury.
Ramos, 35, played in the closing minutes of Spain’s 3-1 win over Kosovo on Wednesday night, collecting his 180th cap along the way. His latest injury could see the defender ruled out for up to one month, according to Diario AS, meaning he would miss crucial games against Liverpool in the Champions League and Barcelona in El Clásico later this month.
Madrid have confirmed that his latest injury is on his left calf. Ramos underwent surgery on a knee injury in February.
