A fresh insight into the future of Arda Güler at La Liga giants Real Madrid has today been forthcoming online.
And as much points towards something of an internal debate as having broken out behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu.
The subject of youngster Güler’s short-term future in Madrid has of course long positioned itself front and centre in the Spanish media headlines.
This comes with the Turk continuing to struggle for minutes.
Despite showcasing flashes of his evident brilliance, it is becoming increasingly clear that Güler is yet to secure the full trust of head coach Carlo Ancelotti.
All told, since his arrival in Spain last summer, the 19-year-old has been afforded a grand total of just 31 minutes of La Liga playing time.
In turn, it has been understandably suggested in the press that Güler could be farmed out on a season-long loan, in a bid to secure regular first-team football, before returning to base in Madrid more ready to compete for a starting berth.
And such a course of action, it would appear, would be viewed favourably by Ancelotti and his staff.
As revealed by transfer insider Matteo Moretto, speaking on ‘Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing‘, those in attendance at the Valdebebas training ground on a daily basis are of the opinion that a year away would be of major benefit to Güler.
The board at the Bernabéu, on the other hand, are keen for the midfield starlet to stay put this summer.
The player himself, meanwhile, is in agreement with the latter.
