La Liga giants Real Madrid have tied up a deal for a fresh addition to the club’s academy setup.
This comes amid confirmation that Manex Rezola will imminently make his way to Spain’s capital from Logroñés.
Rezola, for his part, is a 19-year-old attacker, who has long been held in high regard across the Spanish football landscape.
The youngster generally takes to the pitch in a wide berth, on the right, but is also more than capable of lining out on the left, or even as a 2nd striker.
Such versatility, coupled with impressive technical ability, had long piqued the attentions of a number of La Liga clubs.
And as alluded to above, this week, one such club have beaten out the competition to Rezola’s signature.
As per a report from Real Madrid insider Guillermo Rai of The Athletic:
‘One more detail about one of the new signings for La Fábrica: Manex Rezola’s departure from UD Logroñés is expected to be made official tomorrow. The club is very happy about the bonuses and treatment offered by Real Madrid – apart from the €150k clause.’
