Real Madrid boss Ancelotti drops Éder Militão hint for Man City 2nd leg

The latest comments laid out by Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti are no doubt set to pique attentions across the club’s fanbase on Tuesday night.

As much comes after the Italian hinted that he is ready to depend on Éder Militão for the 2nd leg of his side’s Champions League tie with Manchester City.

Real, of course, are fresh off seeing out the opener of their quarter-final showdown with reigning tournament holders City.

An absolutely rip-roaring affair, packed with quality and stunning goals, ultimately gave rise to a 3-3 stalemate in Spain’s capital.

On their way to a comeback draw, though, the evening’s hosts were also dealt something of a blow.

This came inside the opening 60 seconds of action, when Aurélien Tchouaméni was shown a yellow card for a heavy challenge on Jack Grealish.

The France international is as a result set to miss the tie’s return leg in Manchester, owing to an accumulation of bookings.

Speaking to the media post-match, Carlo Ancelotti was in turn asked if Tchouaméni’s impending absence marks a source of concern for his side at The Etihad.

Real’s headmaster, however, assured that this is not the case, with Los Blancos ready to turn to the returning Éder Militão in a week’s time:

“Tchouameni’s suspension? It doesn’t worry me. We have Militão.”
